Faraj has known nothing other than peace in Sayil-Zajaj, a volcanic oasis protected within the World’s Great Desert. There is little change day to day between reading old books and trying to live up to his parents expectations as the next Meister. His world comes crashing down when Arcticanna, a polar bear from beyond the far dunes, arrives against cardinal rule. Darkness descends upon Sayil-Zajaj, and Faraj soon finds himself caught up in the quest of a young human named Wei, a long thought to be extinct race of bipedal monsters. Together they will have to unravel the mystery of The World’s lost past and the only magical Polar Bear if they ever want to go Home.
